
Inventory Manager

We are seeking a seasoned inventory professional to join our team as an Inventory Controller on a full-time basis.
This role offers the opportunity to work in our Melbourne store, driving accurate stock levels and delivering seamless customer experiences.
The OpportunityAs the Inventory Controller, you will be responsible for ensuring that stock levels are up-to-date and efficiently managed throughout the store.
Key responsibilities include:
- Developing and implementing efficient stock management processes to minimize shrinkage loss and maximize sales opportunities.
- Providing insights and recommendations to inform inventory decisions, based on data analysis and market trends.
- Collaborating with the store team to monitor and investigate negative stock levels, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions.
- Training and educating the wider team on inventory management best practices and company policies.
- Coordinating the receipt, processing, and replenishment of stock arrivals, as well as managing returns and liaising with external stakeholders.
- Proven experience in retail stock management, including cycle counts, product launches, visual merchandising, people management, and sales forecasting.
- Proficiency in using Microsoft Office Suite, including SharePoint and SAP.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities and deadlines.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build effective relationships with colleagues and external partners.
