Job Title: Inventory Manager

Job Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Inventory Manager to join our team. As an Inventory Manager, you will play a key role in driving the optimisation and management of our inventory operations while leading all vendor inventory initiatives.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Demand Forecasting: Analyse sales data and market trends to forecast future demand, incorporating promotions and new launches. Develop accurate forecasts that meet business objectives.
  • Inventory Management: Maintain optimal stock levels, monitor stock turnover, and implement inventory control systems to avoid overstocking or stockouts.
  • Supply Planning: Generate and review purchase orders regularly, coordinate with suppliers to manage lead times and quantities, and adapt plans to any supply disruptions.
  • Procurement Coordination: Work with procurement and suppliers to ensure timely deliveries, negotiate favourable terms, and resolve supply challenges.
  • System & Data Management: Manage inventory systems (ERP), update product data, and develop KPIs and dashboards to monitor inventory performance.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Sales Data Analysis: Strong experience analysing sales data and market trends for accurate forecasting.
  • Inventory Balancing: Proven ability to balance stock levels to meet customer demand without excess inventory.
  • Collaboration: Proficient in collaborating with procurement, suppliers, and logistics to ensure smooth inventory replenishment.
  • Inventory Systems: Skilled in using inventory management and ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, JDA, or Microsoft Dynamics.
  • Attention to Detail: Detail-oriented with excellent accuracy in tracking inventory and purchase orders.
  • Problem Solving: Problem solver capable of identifying supply chain disruptions and implementing corrective actions.
  • Communication: Clear communicator who can effectively liaise with both internal teams and external vendors.
  • Organisation: Excellent organisational skills to prioritise tasks and manage inventory cycles efficiently.
