Roles and Responsibilities:
Capgemini Engineering is on the lookout for a seasoned Network Testing Engineer (Fixed Wireless) to contribute to our objectives. In this capacity, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and executing comprehensive system test plans for SD-WAN / Fixed Wireless solutions, ensuring optimal quality and performance. Your role will also involve network deployment planning and conducting fixed wireless network testing, collaborating with key technology partners to deliver exceptional service verification.
- Formulate detailed network designs and architectures, ensuring scalability and reliability in every solution.
- Employ network design tools and software to produce thorough network diagrams and documentation.
- System Testing: Design, develop, and execute extensive system tests for SD-WAN solutions, encompassing verification, regression, stability, and performance assessments.
- Test Planning and Execution: Develop test plans for new features and carry out regression testing to uphold product quality.
- Test Network Management: Configure and oversee test networks that replicate real-world scenarios, documenting all procedures and outcomes.
- Fixed Wireless Network Testing: Create and implement test plans for fixed wireless networks, engaging with network elements such as Cisco, Palo-Alto, Juniper, Nokia, and Ericsson.
- Network Deployment Planning: Formulate strategic plans for network infrastructure with an emphasis on scalability and reliability.
- MoP Preparation: Generate detailed deployment plans, specifying configurations for routers, switches, security appliances, and network elements.
- Hardware Installation and Verification: Supervise hardware installations, conduct tests for new components, and perform loopback tests.
- Service Verification: Ensure services are operational post-network migration and troubleshoot any arising issues.
- Stakeholder Communication: Provide regular updates throughout the project lifecycle.
- Cross-Functional Training: Deliver training on fixed wireless network components to various teams.
Key Skills & Qualifications:
- Proficient in SD-WAN solutions, particularly Versa.
- Familiarity with network elements such as Cisco, Juniper, and Ericsson.
- Strong understanding of network protocols, architectures, and infrastructure.
- Demonstrated experience in test planning and execution for networking solutions.
- Bachelor's degree with networking certifications such as CCNP (Mandatory), CCIE (Desirable), or equivalent.
- Experience in deploying and managing fixed wireless networks.
