Business Operations Support Specialist

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to join our team in the Exports and Veterinary Services Division. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a motivated and professional environment with a wide range of skill sets and backgrounds.
Key Responsibilities:
- Action a variety of administrative tasks, including travel arrangements, invoicing, procurement assistance, overtime cost recovery, container seal dispatch, and other administrative duties as required.
- Respond to inquiries and collaborate with staff to provide support in accordance with departmental policies and practices.
- Contribute to the resolution of issues and assist with coordination activities.
- Develop and maintain effective working relationships with colleagues and stakeholders.
- Maintain knowledge of and compliance with legislative, financial, and administrative department principles.
Requirements:
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to gather information from various sources.
- Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks and projects concurrently.
- Ability to work cooperatively in a team environment and the initiative to work independently while still achieving outlined objectives.
