Fresh Produce Trade Planning Manager

We are seeking an experienced Trade Planning Manager to join our Fresh Produce team. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and executing promotional planning strategies that drive commercial outcomes while delivering a customer-centric execution plan.
About the Role- Collaborate closely with category teams to develop multi-horizon promotional plans that align with category strategies, supplier agreements, and market dynamics.
- Owning analysis of insights to identify growth opportunities within Fresh Produce and making recommendations based on these findings.
- Developing and establishing processes for ongoing reviews of promotional effectiveness, aligning with customer trends and seasonal dynamics.
- Aligning the promotional calendar with the customer calendar to deliver a cohesive trade plan, while appropriately challenging and influencing stakeholders to strengthen the value proposition for Fresh Produce.
- Conducting assessments of local competitor markets and managing activities by reviewing and responding to market dynamics on a state-by-state level, ensuring the right value proposition is delivered to customers.
- You're a high achiever with proven commercial capabilities, thriving in dynamic environments where you can develop and build new processes, unite cross-functional team initiatives, and showcase your expertise in leading change.
- Extensive retail experience in a comparable commercial role, with commercial and leadership responsibilities delivering against KPI targets.
- Prior experience within Fresh Produce is highly desirable.
- Demonstrated strong financial expertise within a business unit context, utilising financial analysis to drive strategic decision-making and optimise performance.
- Demonstrated comprehensive category management experience, optimising product offerings, pricing and promotions to drive growth and align with business goals.
- Experience in building and executing a trade plan.
- Demonstrated experience working cross-functionally with various stakeholders and managing effective relationships internally and externally.
- Experience and proven examples of influencing at a senior leadership level to secure buy-in and drive alignment.
