Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Voice Engineer to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity to work on complex network security operations and drive innovation in the field.

The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in mid to large-scale network security operations, handling level 3 escalations, and organizing vulnerability and maintenance windows.

The ideal candidate will have intermediate to professional knowledge of coding/scripting, with expertise in scripting for database queries, bolstering databases housing network telemetry and status information.

This role requires strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and excellent communication skills. The ability to work independently and as part of a team is essential.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Installation, configuration, and upgrade of hardware, systems, and software for networks.

  • Management of network and security performance by monitoring, troubleshooting, reporting, and continuous improvement to optimize performance.

  • Identification, analysis, and management of risk at every aspect of work.

  • Security of network systems by establishing and enforcing policies, defining and monitoring access.

  • Project design and architecture work, including high-level and detailed design work.

  • Technical consultation to business/technology stakeholders to support relevant infrastructure partners and other business stakeholders.

Requirements:

  • Coding Skills: Python scripting/coding (Intermediate) - primary importance.

  • DevOps tools Skills: BitBucket, Jenkins, JIRA, GitHub, Terraform, Vault.

  • Network Security: Operational expertise in the networking domain, showcasing the ability to tackle complex network challenges. Experience with F5 load balancer, GTM/LTM, Firewalls - Juniper SRX, Fortinet FortiGate, VMware (now Broadcom) NSX.

  • Data Management Skills: Data Collection, Schema Binding, Data Manipulation and Analytical skills.
