Job Overview

This role offers a mix of office and field work, giving you the chance to stay close to the action while managing the bigger picture.

You will be responsible for overseeing project development and planning, subcontractor coordination, budgeting, and stakeholder engagement.

  • Lead project delivery from development and planning to completion, ensuring works are executed safely, efficiently, and in line with client expectations and standards
  • Implement governance frameworks as set by the organisation and client, ensuring consistent compliance and alignment across all project activities
  • Manage subcontractors and direct reports, providing clear direction, resolving issues quickly, and maintaining high standards of performance and safety
  • Build strong relationships with clients and stakeholders, including senior management, engineers, and field teams, to support smooth project execution and collaboration

About You

You are an experienced Project Manager who brings a steady hand and a practical mindset to every job.

You know how to keep projects moving, manage teams, budgets, and timelines, and communicate clearly to make sure everyone's on the same page.

You will also bring:

  • A trade qualification and/or tertiary qualification in a relevant field, as well as a minimum 5 years' experience managing infrastructure projects, ideally in the electrical or utilities space
  • Strong subcontractor and stakeholder management skills
  • Proven ability to manage budgets, schedules, and reporting
  • Solid understanding of safety standards and public space work environments
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills
