Agile Program Manager

This is an exciting opportunity to lead a high-performing agile team within a government department.

Job Description:

As an Agile Program Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing and guiding agile teams to ensure they follow Scrum framework values and agile practices to improve processes.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead RTP Squads to achieve Sprint Goals, address roadblocks, and coordinate with other delivery squads.
  • Evaluate Program delivery KPIs and take necessary steps to remove roadblocks and support the Squads.
  • Maintain Product Backlog hygiene.
  • Organize and facilitate Program Ceremonies.
  • Manage risks, issues, and dependencies, ensuring relevant registers are up to date.
  • Keep all stakeholders informed of progress and issues.
  • Lead continuous improvements to mature Agile practices within the Program.

Requirements and Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 8 years' experience as a Scrum Master working on large enterprise programs/projects.
  • Previous government background or large complex organizations.
  • Relevant qualifications and industry experience.
  • Experience working with business and IT stakeholders.
  • Ability to work proactively with project managers to ensure delivery.
  • Desired financial services, banking, or government experience.
  • Strong stakeholder engagement and management skills.
  • Must be an Australian Citizen.
