Document Specialist Role

We seek a highly skilled Document Specialist to join our project team. This role is part of a landmark project that will modernise Australia's critical air defence infrastructure.

About the Project:

The Australian Defence Air Traffic System (ADATS) upgrade program aims to ensure continued operational excellence in military air traffic control capabilities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain comprehensive technical documentation for system upgrades.
  • Create clear, accurate, and compliant documentation bridging complex technical systems and end users.
  • Collaborate with technical teams to document system modifications, integration approaches, and operational procedures.
  • Support security certification and accreditation processes through precise documentation.
  • Maintain configuration management documentation and coordinate with stakeholders to validate technical content.

Skills and Qualifications:

  • University degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics, or Technical Writing.
  • Demonstrated experience in technical documentation for complex systems integration projects.
  • Strong understanding of ILS principles and documentation requirements.
  • Experience working within structured documentation frameworks and configuration management systems.
