Event Opportunity

Job Description:

The ideal candidate will have the ability to drive end-to-end event delivery, from planning and logistics to budgets, risk management, suppliers, and on-the-ground action. They will work with passionate stakeholders and partners to make every event seamless and memorable.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement event strategies that align with the organisation's goals and objectives.
  • Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality events.
  • Manage event timelines, budgets, and resources to ensure successful outcomes.
  • Build strong relationships with stakeholders, vendors, and volunteers to ensure a smooth event experience.
  • Identify opportunities for growth and improvement and develop strategies to enhance the event program.
Required Skills and Qualifications:

The following qualifications and skills are essential:

  • Tertiary qualifications in Event/Tourism Management or equivalent.
  • Proven experience in major event coordination.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Superior organisational and time management skills.
  • A current Class C Driver Licence.
