About the Role

We are seeking an experienced ITS Engineer to join our team on the Eastern Freeway Burke to Tram Alliance. As an ITS Engineer, you will play a critical role in the design, implementation, and maintenance of intelligent transportation systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Apply engineering concepts to ITS, technical standards, and analytics to meet project needs.
  • Understand project scope and develop solutions within defined technical and budget constraints.
  • Manage short- and long-term construction planning for works and prepare accurate reporting and mitigation measures where required.
  • Ongoing monitoring and reporting of work progress.
  • Support site construction crews with developing and communicating work packages.
  • Assist with technical queries.
About You
  • A degree qualification in Civil or Electrical Engineering with industry experience in roads/tunnels, rail, metro, or similar.
  • Demonstrated experience in one or more of the fields of maintenance, construction, testing & commissioning of Intelligent Transport Systems.
  • 'Hands-on' experience with ITS systems (building, configuring, troubleshooting, maintaining, upgrading).
  • Strong knowledge of electrical and ITS systems and assets.
  • Excellent written/verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
