About the Role

We are seeking a skilled ITS Engineer to join our team on the Eastern Freeway Burke to Tram Alliance project. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for designing and implementing technical ITS solutions that meet the project's needs.

Key Responsibilities

  • Apply engineering concepts and practices to design and develop ITS solutions, including architecture, technical standards, and analytics.
  • Understand project scope and develop solutions within defined technical and budget constraints.
  • Manage short- and long-term construction planning for works and prepare accurate reporting and mitigation measures where required.
  • Participate in market engagement, procurement, subcontract, and supplier management throughout delivery.
  • Complete daily site diaries and progress photographs.

About You

  • A degree qualification in Civil Engineering with industry experience in roads, tunnels, rail, metro, or similar.
  • Demonstrated experience in one or more fields of maintenance, design, construction, testing, and commissioning of Intelligent Transport Systems.
  • 'Hands-on' experience with ITS systems, including building, configuring, troubleshooting, maintaining, and upgrading.
  • Strong knowledge of electrical and ITS systems and assets, including their design and functionality.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
