Job Overview

We are seeking an accomplished Cloud Architect to lead the implementation of scalable, flexible, and resilient cloud solutions for our public sector customers.

The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, enabling them to represent our organization effectively within a customer environment and drive discussions with senior personnel. They should also have a technical background that enables them to easily interact and give guidance to software developers and architects.

Key responsibilities include owning the technical engagement and ultimate success around specific implementation projects, developing a deep expertise in AWS technologies, and having a broad knowledge of how applications and services are constructed using the AWS platform.

Requirements
  • 8+ years of experience in technology domain areas such as software development, cloud computing, systems engineering, infrastructure, security, networking, data & analytics
  • 7+ years of infrastructure architecture, database architecture, and networking experience
  • Ability to lead on complex technical projects requiring participation from other teams
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience communicating across technical and non-technical audiences, including executive level stakeholders or clients
  • Experience architecting or deploying Cloud/Virtualization solutions in enterprise customers
  • Ability to create proof of concepts, demos, and/or scripts from scratch or leveraging reusable components
  • Experience working with Federal government
  • Ability to present to technical and business audiences (training, workshops, publications)
