Commercial Property Lawyer Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled Commercial Property Lawyer to join our team in a senior role.

This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated and experienced lawyer to work on complex commercial and industrial property projects, providing pragmatic and commercially focused advice to enable successful outcomes.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in property law, with experience in leasing, acquisitions, and large-scale property transactions. They will also possess excellent drafting skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Draft, review and negotiate documentation for construction, consultancy, and development projects.
  • Advise on land acquisitions, estate land sales, divestments, and major project transactions.
  • Support commercial and industrial leasing matters, including agreements for lease and finalisation of leasing documentation.
  • Manage due diligence processes, including coordination of data rooms and Q&A.
  • Prepare and maintain precedents, templates, and confidentiality agreements in line with risk parameters.
  • Work collaboratively with business teams to find practical solutions that balance legal risk and commercial objectives.

About You:

  • 5+ years PQE in a law firm or in-house environment, with a strong property focus.
  • Experience in leasing, acquisitions, and large-scale property transactions.
  • Commercial acumen and a collaborative approach to stakeholder engagement.
  • Strong drafting skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Admitted to practise in Australia with a current practising certificate.
