Job Summary

This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated lawyer to join our national Property & Projects team in Sydney or Newcastle. The role involves providing expert advice on general property law matters, including acquisitions and disposals, options, leases, licences, easements, restrictive covenants, Crown Land and regulatory matters.

  • Provide counsel to government, the private sector and large community housing providers on major tenders, property development projects, social and affordable housing projects, social infrastructure, activation and divestment of Government land and all types of real property matters.
  • Collaborate with highly regarded Partner Katrina Reye on a variety of projects and property matters.

The successful candidate will possess between 3-7 years of post-admission experience as a real property lawyer, exceptional technical, analytical and drafting skills, outstanding verbal and written communication skills, a strong commitment to client service, and a focus on achieving commercial solutions for clients.

Key Responsibilities

The ideal candidate will have expertise in:

Requirements

To be successful in this role, candidates must have:

  • Between 3-7 years of post-admission experience as a real property lawyer.
