POSITION OVERVIEW.
This role presents an exciting opportunity for a Geotechnical Engineer to conduct on-site investigations, inspections, and fieldwork while generating detailed geotechnical reports. You will work closely with Senior Geotechnical Engineers on design tasks, report writing, and project management, ensuring your development into a well-rounded engineer with a diverse skill set.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES.
- Provide technical guidance and insights to clients.
- Support and mentor junior team members in their professional development.
- Conduct site inspections, geological face mapping, and geotechnical testing to collect vital data.
- Integrate geotechnical findings into project designs and recommendations.
- Prepare tenders and proposals for various projects.
- Coordinate with contractors and manage equipment for site operations.
REQUIRED SKILLS & EXPERIENCE.
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering.
- Familiarity with RocScience, Wallap & Plaxis is preferred.
- Strong verbal and written communication abilities.
- Capability to work both independently and collaboratively.
- Possession of a valid Australian Driver's License.
