POSITION OVERVIEW
We are seeking a Senior Geotechnical Engineer with substantial experience in site-related projects and design. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, enabling effective collaboration with contractors and clients. This role also involves mentoring junior engineers and contributing to business growth by engaging with both existing and prospective clients.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Develop detailed geotechnical designs, assessments, and analyses.
- Provide expert advice and support throughout all phases of project execution.
- Conduct site visits, investigations, and geotechnical testing as required.
- Prepare competitive tenders and proposals, playing an active role in business development.
- Mentor and guide Junior Geotechnical Engineers, promoting their professional development.
REQUIRED SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
- Proficiency in software tools such as PLAXIS 2D/3D, WALLAP, and CIRCLY is preferred.
- A relevant degree in geotechnical engineering or a related discipline.
- Demonstrated leadership abilities and effective communication with stakeholders.
- Experience managing large-scale projects within the local context.
- A valid Australian driver's license is essential.
