POSITION OVERVIEW.
This role presents a unique opportunity for a Geotechnical Engineer to participate in field investigations, assessments, and hands-on work while generating detailed geotechnical reports. You will work closely with experienced Senior Geotechnical Engineers on design tasks, report preparation, and project oversight, ensuring you evolve into a versatile engineer with a broad skill set.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES.
- Provide technical guidance and insights to clients.
- Support and mentor junior engineers in their professional development.
- Conduct site assessments, geological mapping, and geotechnical testing to collect vital information.
- Assist in design processes by incorporating geotechnical data into project strategies and recommendations.
- Draft proposals and tenders.
- Coordinate with contractors and manage equipment for site operations.
QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS.
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering.
- Familiarity with RocScience, Wallap & Plaxis is preferred.
- Strong verbal and written communication abilities.
- Capability to work autonomously as well as collaboratively.
- Possession of a valid Australian Driver's License.
