Physiotherapy and Occupational Therapy Support Professional

Join a dynamic team at Northern Health Authority, where you can grow your career in Physiotherapy and Occupational Therapy. This Fixed Term Part Time opportunity exists for a Grade 3 Allied Health Assistant to provide quality client care under the supervision of an Allied Health professional.
We are seeking a dedicated individual with clinical experience working in an inpatient and group setting. If you have a client centred focus in the provision of care and demonstrated teamwork and appreciation of multidisciplinary practice, this could be the perfect role for you.
The successful candidate will be responsible for providing individual and group-based therapy to inpatients and outpatients. They will also contribute to administrative support and undertake cleaning and maintenance activities as requested.
A highlight of this position is the opportunity to work independently within the Grade 3 Allied Health Assistant scope of practice and seek advice/support when required. Our ideal candidate will possess excellent negotiation and effective interpersonal skills, as well as strong verbal and written communication skills.
The estimated annual salary for this role is $63,000 - $70,000 based on the industry standard for a Physiotherapy and Occupational Therapy Support Professional in Melbourne's northern suburbs.
