Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Allied Health Assistant to join our team at Northern Health. As a key member of our physiotherapy and occupational therapy department, you will play a vital role in providing quality client care and administrative support to our patients.



Responsibilities

  • Client Care: Provide high-quality client care under the supervision of an Allied Health professional, including individual and group-based therapy sessions
  • Administrative Support: Assist with administrative tasks, such as maintaining accurate records and communicating with patients and staff
  • Cleaning and Maintenance: Perform cleaning and maintenance activities as required
  • Teamwork: Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to achieve optimal patient outcomes


Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will have:



  • Clinical Experience: Proven experience working in an inpatient and group setting, preferably in a physiotherapy or occupational therapy environment
  • Supervision: Ability to work under the direction of a Physiotherapist or Allied Health Clinician
  • Client-Centred Focus: Demonstrated ability to provide client-centred care, prioritising patient needs and well-being
  • Teamwork: Excellent teamwork and communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams
  • Adaptability: Ability to adapt to changing priorities and workload demands
