The Opportunity
This role combines policy advisory and tender management skills, offering a unique chance to make a tangible impact on urban planning and development in NSW.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in identifying emerging trends in urban planning policy and support research projects that enhance thought leadership and profile the company as a trusted advisor in NSW Planning.
- Monitor ongoing planning policy developments that impact NSW and communicate changing or emerging planning policy and legislative amendments to the team and clients.
- Support directors in undertaking targeted research to improve the quality and depth of understanding of the planning framework and its influence on planning outcomes across NSW.
Bid Management:
- Work with the team to support and project manage the tender process, including identifying client needs, technical and commercial risks, and developing an assessment of the position for bid opportunities.
- Collaborate with key members of the project team and clients to compile effective responses to bids, devise winning strategies, and assemble bid project teams.
Requirements:
- Tertiary qualifications in Urban Planning or a related discipline.
- Relevant property industry experience, ideally gained in a consultancy environment.
- Proven ability to manage and develop team members.
- Experience in preparing tenders for large-scale and complex development or demonstrated project management and organisational skills applicable to tender management tasks.
