Senior Mechanic

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Senior Mechanic to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity for a seasoned professional to take on a senior role and contribute their expertise to the success of our racing program.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the preparation and build of GT racing cars, ensuring they meet technical inspection compliance standards.
  • Oversee car performance, safety, and reliability, identifying areas for improvement and implementing solutions.
  • Collaborate with mechanics, managers, race engineers, and supporting departments to ensure effective communication and teamwork.
  • Travel with the team to races and tests, ensuring the car is properly functioning and ready for competition.
Requirements
  • 3+ years' experience as chief mechanic in Indycar, Sports Cars or F1 series race cars.
  • Proven track record of delivering high-quality results and meeting deadlines.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and direct a team.
  • Intimate knowledge of mechanical components, electronics, and structural framework of race cars.
  • Manual experience using lathe, mill, drill press, or band saw.
  • Proficiency in using precision measuring devices.
