About the Role

As an Employment Consultant with are-able, you will play a vital role in helping individuals with disabilities find and maintain employment. You will work closely with job seekers to understand their strengths, interests, and goals, and provide them with the support and resources they need to succeed in the workforce.

Key Responsibilities
  • Work with job seekers to identify their employment goals and develop a personalized employment plan
  • Provide job seekers with the skills and training they need to succeed in the workforce
  • Assist job seekers in finding and applying for job openings that match their skills and interests
  • Provide ongoing support and coaching to job seekers to help them maintain employment and advance in their careers
  • Develop and maintain relationships with local employers to promote are-able's services and job seekers
Requirements
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work with individuals with disabilities and understand their needs and goals
  • Knowledge of employment laws and regulations
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks and responsibilities
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; degree in a related field preferred
