Conference and Events Planning Assistant Manager

About the Role
The Conference and Events Planning Assistant Manager is a key member of the Accor team, responsible for supporting the planning, coordination, and execution of conferences and events. This role involves managing various logistical elements, ensuring client satisfaction, and contributing to the overall success of each event.
Main Responsibilities
- Event Planning and Coordination: Assist in the planning and coordination of conferences and events, from initial inquiry to post-event evaluation.
- Logistical Support: Manage various logistical elements, including venue selection, catering, audio-visual equipment, and event timelines.
- Client Communication: Develop and maintain effective relationships with clients, ensuring timely and professional communication throughout the event planning process.
- Event Execution: Assist in the execution of events, including setup, registration, and coordination with vendors and stakeholders.
- Post-Event Evaluation: Gather feedback from clients and stakeholders, and prepare reports to assess event success and areas for improvement.
Requirements
- Qualifications: Qualification in Event Planning, Hospitality Management, or a related field is desirable.
- Experience: Proven experience in event planning or coordination, with a strong understanding of the hospitality industry.
- Skills: Strong organizational and multitasking skills, with the ability to manage multiple events simultaneously. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a customer-focused approach.
- Software Proficiency: Proficiency in event management software and Microsoft Office Suite, including DELPHI and OPERA is desirable.
