We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Pharmacist to join our team at Northern Territory PHN. As a Pharmacist, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality healthcare services to our patients, particularly in remote and underserved communities.
Key Responsibilities- Counseling and Medication Management: Provide expert advice and guidance to patients on their medical conditions and medications, ensuring they receive the best possible care.
- Health Services Delivery: Execute health services to the highest professional standard, prioritizing patient safety and well-being.
- Community Engagement: Build and maintain relationships with local health professionals, fostering a collaborative and supportive environment.
- Team Leadership: Supervise, direct, and coach pharmacy assistants and intern pharmacists, promoting professional growth and development.
- Quality and Compliance: Implement and follow QCPP policy and procedure to ensure the highest standard of care and compliance.
- Qualifications: Tertiary qualification in Pharmacy with registration with the Australian Health Practitioners Regulation Agency (AHPRA) and registration as a Pharmacist with the Pharmacy Board of Australia.
- Cultural Competence: Demonstrate a sensitive and culturally safe ability to interact with Aboriginal people, understanding the unique healthcare needs of this community.
- Collaboration and Communication: Possess exceptional communication skills, able to work collaboratively with multidisciplinary healthcare teams and effectively communicate with patients and colleagues.
- Competitive Salary: Above award salary rates, negotiable and dependent on experience.
