Support Worker for Dementia Clients

Working as a Support Worker involves delivering high-quality, person-centred services to clients with dementia and their families.
The role is crucial in providing support and companionship to people living with dementia while maintaining professional boundaries.
You will create safe environments that promote the wellbeing needs of individuals and their carers.
Key responsibilities include:
- Assisting with personal care, medication management, meal preparation, and occasional domestic assistance
- Building relationships with people living with dementia to provide emotional support and maintain dignity
- Developing activities and outings to enhance skills and promote independence
- Facilitating meaningful centre-based activities while respecting individual abilities and dignity
- Certificate III in Individual Support (Disability), or equivalent experience
- Senior First Aid & CPR certification, effective communication skills, and ability to engage with people living with dementia
- Valid working rights in Australia, Police Clearance, and WA 'C' class driver's licence
- NDIS Worker Screening and up-to-date COVID Vaccination
