About the Role

This role requires a seasoned professional who can drive high-impact data migration programs, collaborating closely with key stakeholders to ensure timely and successful delivery. The successful candidate will lead a dedicated team of engineers, mentor them to achieve successful program delivery, and manage the data migration program.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Drive high-impact data migration programs, ensuring timely and successful delivery.
  • Lead and mentor a team of engineers to achieve successful program delivery.
  • Manage the data migration program, defining requirements and scope with stakeholders.
  • Organize and lead workshops to align on data migration strategies and source-to-target mapping.
  • Develop detailed scope documents for each scheme and obtain necessary approvals.
  • Understand GLS and Amanda systems from a data migration requirements perspective.
  • Perform data profiling and support regulatory user data analysis.
  • Devise and implement data enrichment and remediation solutions.
  • Implement required data transformations from the GLS system to the Amanda operational system.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Experience in leading and managing complex data migration projects.
  • Solid understanding of database models and proficiency in Microsoft Azure Cloud framework.
  • Expert knowledge of Azure Data Factory, Azure SQL Managed Instances, and SQL Server Management Studio (SSMS).
  • Ability to write complex SQL code and queries.
  • Advanced knowledge of MS Excel and ability to work under tight schedules.
  • Flexibility and adaptability to changing priorities and excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Regulatory licensing domain experience considered an advantage.
