About Borg

Borg is a leading manufacturer of steel structures for the wood processing industry. We are seeking a skilled Waterjet Cutter Operator to join our team in Mount Gambier.

The Role

We are looking for a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to operate our waterjet cutter machine. The successful candidate will be responsible for programming and operating the machine to cut steel plates to precise specifications.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Program and operate the waterjet cutter machine to cut steel plates to plan specifications.
  • Conduct pre and post checks to ensure the machine is properly maintained.
  • Nest steel plates into the nesting software provided.
  • Operate forklifts and overhead cranes to move materials as needed.
  • Work collaboratively with the team to ensure work is completed on schedule.
  • Assist with welding and other tasks as required.
  • Roll cut steel plates to required specifications.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
