Borg Manufacturing is seeking a skilled Waterjet Cutter Operator to join our Engineering and Fabrication team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for operating a waterjet cutter to precision-cut plate steel structures for various manufacturing applications.
Key Responsibilities- Program and operate the waterjet cutter to cut plate steel structures to precise specifications.
- Perform pre- and post-checks to ensure the waterjet cutter is properly maintained and calibrated.
- Nest plates into the nesting software provided to optimize cutting efficiency.
- Operate forklifts and overhead cranes to move materials as needed.
- Collaborate with the team to ensure work is completed on schedule and to the required quality standards.
- Assist with welding and other tasks within the business as needed.
- Roll cut plates to required specifications.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to Borg Manufacturing's high standards of housekeeping.
