We are seeking an experienced Senior Electrical Engineer who can provide expertise in electrical design for both single and multi-disciplinary projects. Your role will involve leading small to medium-sized design projects, ensuring best practice delivery while managing costs and timelines, and developing strong relationships with clients.
Key Responsibilities- Electrical Design Expertise: Provide leadership on electrical design projects, particularly in transport, commercial, education, and defence.
- Project Leadership: Lead small to medium-sized engineering design projects and support larger, more complex projects.
- Client & Stakeholder Communication: Maintain clear communication with external clients and internal colleagues to ensure successful project outcomes.
- Best Practices and Cost Optimization: Deliver best practices to achieve optimal outcomes for clients, focusing on saving time and reducing costs without compromising quality.
- Client Relationship Development: Build long-term relationships with clients, identifying new business development opportunities and understanding their evolving needs.
- Business Unit Development: Contribute to the development and growth of the business unit by supporting strategic goals and initiatives.
- Bachelor of Electrical Engineering;
- Strong expertise in electrical building services engineering and design documentation;
- 6 to 10+ years' industry experience on Australian building services projects;
- Well versed in delivering multiple projects ranging in scale and sector;
- Strong client relationship management and project management skills;
- Capacity to lead and mentor junior engineers;
- Strong leadership, teamwork, and communication skills;
- Sound working knowledge of relevant Standards and Codes;
- Understanding of BIM, NavisWorks, and Revit MEP (advantageous).
