Marketing and Sales Development Specialist

FM Global is seeking a highly skilled Marketing Specialist to join our Asia Pacific Division in Sydney or Melbourne office.
Job Summary:The Marketing Specialist will play a critical role in facilitating and accelerating sales growth, as well as infusing state-of-the-art analytics into our sales strategies. The successful candidate will work closely with Business Development Executives (BDEs) to mine and package knowledge, resources, and materials for critical moments throughout the sales cycle.
Key Responsibilities:- Collaborate with Regional Sales Managers (RSMs) and Staff Marketing to design and execute innovative lead nurturing campaigns at various stages in the sales funnel.
- Administer information in Client Relationship Management (CRM) system in collaboration with Business Development Assistants (BDAs).
- Exploit social networking among other critical field tools for the BDEs.
- Customize research for BDEs on prospects, clients, industries, and strategic buyers.
- Gather, organize, and supply BDEs with competitive market and internal intelligence.
- Execute direct marketing campaigns.
- Maintain a working knowledge of the assigned geographic territory and industries, identify new prospects in the territory.
- Travel approximately 20%.
- Bachelor's degree, preferably in marketing/marketing research.
- At least 5 years' experience in business or equivalent.
- Research, analytical, and market knowledge skills.
- Excellent written and communication skills in English.
- Knowledge of another Asian language (Mandarin, Malay, or Korean) would be a significant advantage.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office software, specifically Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Web mining/familiarity with business services and social networking tools.
- Skills using Adobe InDesign and other design platforms.
- Strong planning and organizing skills.
