Electrical Estimator Job Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Estimator to join our team in Sydney. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing accurate contract value estimates and cost plans for various tenders and engineering studies.

Key Responsibilities

">
  • Review requests for proposals and tenders, and contribute to the development of efficient and cost-effective pricing models.">
  • Develop and implement first principle estimates, including allowances for risk and contingency.">
  • Collate material take-offs and job costs into presentable spreadsheets or databases.">
  • Analyse benchmarks and historical costs, and assist with BoQ preparation for procurement packages.">
  • Work directly with the Planning team to align the estimate and schedule.">
  • Review estimates and labour cost calculations for accuracy, suitability, and completeness.">

Requirements

">
  • Degree qualified with significant on-the-job experience.">
  • Experience with database estimating packages and data analysis.">
  • 4+ years' minimum experience in an estimating role and 4+ years' experience within the Energy and Resources sector.">
