Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and mentor a team of trainees in a community-driven workshop setting.
  • Interpret architectural and technical drawings to bring designs to life, using a wide range of tools to create high-quality pieces.
  • Manage timelines and collaborate with the broader team to deliver projects, ensuring a safe, clean, and inspiring workspace.

Requirements:

  • Trade qualifications in Cabinetmaking, Joinery, Shopfitting, or Furniture Making.
  • 5+ years of hands-on experience in furniture production and finishing, with proven leadership skills in a workshop setting.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and cultural sensitivity are essential for success in this role.
  • OH&S White Card, NT Driver's License (or ability to obtain), and willingness to travel are also required.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and workshop planning is an advantage.
