Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Traffic Management Specialist to join our team at the City of Rockingham. As a key member of our transportation team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safe and efficient movement of people and goods throughout our city.

Key Responsibilities
  • Review and approve roadworks and events traffic management plans, ensuring compliance with Main Roads WA Code of Practice, Austroads Guidelines, and Australian Standards.
  • Provide expert advice to teams across the organization, leveraging your knowledge of transportation planning and management.
  • Communicate effectively with a wide range of stakeholders, including the public, contractors, and other government agencies.
  • Manage conflicting demands and priorities while delivering exceptional customer service.
Requirements
  • Well-developed knowledge of Main Roads WA Code of Practice for traffic management for roadworks and events, relevant Australian Standards, and Austroads guide to temporary traffic management.
  • Advanced Worksite Traffic Management accreditation.
What We Offer
  • A competitive salary range of $82,627 to $87,497 per annum (excluding super).
  • 11.5% superannuation with the option to co-contribute up to a further 5%.
