We are seeking a highly accomplished and experienced Project Support Officer who is passionate about our mission and committed to positively supporting people with rare and less common cancers.

The ideal candidate will have a positive attitude and approach that reflect our organisational values, be enthusiastic, energetic and highly motivated, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

The Project Support Officer will play a critical role in supporting the Head of Fundraising in executing all flagship events, optimising our fundraising efforts, ensuring smooth operation of fundraising platforms, and assisting our supporters, donors, and internal stakeholders.

The role will be responsible for:

  • Assisting in planning, coordinating, and executing fundraising campaigns and maintaining donor databases
  • Supporting the Head of Fundraising in identifying and researching potential donors, sponsors, and partners
  • Coordinating logistics for fundraising events and preparing event materials
  • Engaging and coordinating volunteers, liaising with suppliers, and managing event-related documentation
  • Acting as a point of contact for donors, sponsors, and partners and collaborating with the communications team to ensure timely and effective promotion of fundraising campaigns and events

About You

You will have a background in project support or a related field and experience working in a fast-paced environment. Excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to work independently and as part of a team are essential for this role.
