Job Description

We are seeking a talented Landscape Architect Graduate to enhance public spaces across our region. This role is a fantastic opportunity for recent graduates to grow their skills while contributing to projects that shape open space and recreation assets in a growing city.

  • Undertake landscape design and drafting for various capital works projects, including parks, open spaces, playgrounds, sports fields, and soft landscaping of infrastructure assets.
  • Assist with site investigations and preparation of design reports, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Prepare cost estimates for landscape elements and support construction planning, working closely with internal stakeholders and external partners.
  • Liaise with residents, utilities, and government agencies, ensuring effective communication and collaboration.
  • Maintain accurate job costing records and adhere to quality standards, supporting the team's use of design software and continuous improvement.
Requirements

A recently completed tertiary qualification in Landscape Architecture or a similar field.

  • Some experience with landscape design and knowledge of relevant Australian Standards.
  • Good drafting skills and ability to work with design software, including AutoCAD and Adobe packages.
  • Previous experience in Rhino and Lumion will be highly regarded.
  • Strong communication and organisational skills, with a C Class NSW Driver's Licence (Provisional P2 minimum).
  • Previous work experience in the field is desirable.
