About the Role

We're seeking a Concierge to join our team at the JW Marriott Gold Coast Resort & Spa. In this role, you'll be responsible for providing our guests with memorable arrival and departure experiences. You'll work closely with our Chief Concierge to ensure that every guest feels welcome and valued.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Actively listen to and respond positively to guest questions, concerns, and requests.
2. Address guests' service needs in a professional, positive, and timely manner.
3. Anticipate guests' service needs and take the initiative to deliver exceptional service.
4. Assist other employees to ensure proper coverage and prompt guest service.
5. Engage guests in conversation regarding their stay, property services, and area attractions.
6. Provide assistance to individuals with disabilities, including escorting them when requested and using words to explain actions.
7. Thank guests with genuine appreciation and provide a fond farewell.
8. Welcome and acknowledge each and every guest with a smile, eye contact, and a friendly verbal greeting.
9. Stay up to date on the local area so that you're prepared to provide specific recommendations for guests.
10. Communicate recommendations in a way that builds excitement and interest among guests and associates.
11. Supply guests with directions and information regarding property amenities, services, and hours of operation, and local areas of interest and activities.
