About the Role
\We are seeking a skilled Counsellor to provide assessment, counselling and therapeutic support to children and families.
\This practitioner will undertake intake and assessment interviews, offer counselling and deliver evidence-based therapy to individuals, couples and families including clients seeking assistance with their relationships under the Family Law Act 1975.
\The successful applicant will have:

- Child consultations and feedback within family dispute resolution services\
- Client-centred therapeutic counselling interventions\
- Collaboration across client service lines\
- Excellent interpersonal understanding and communication skills\
- Proficiency in technology and service delivery modalities\
- Experience working with diverse clients from different backgrounds and life experiences\
About You\
To be considered for this position, you must be a client-focused practitioner with demonstrated experience in fee-for-service delivery.
\You will hold tertiary qualifications in Psychology, Social Work, Counselling or Family Therapy, with postgraduate studies and at least 2 years' experience.
\Prior experience working with children, youth and families is preferred, as is registration with AHPRA or AASW, or equivalent Professional association.
\The ideal candidate will have knowledge of contemporary counselling methods, direct experience in the field and familiarity with the Family Law Act 1975.
\A commitment to promoting the profile of Relationship Matters across the community through professional service delivery is essential.
