About the role

Hop And Learn Children Therapy is seeking a talented and passionate Paediatric Occupational Therapist to join our dedicated team in Truganina, VIC. This full-time role will involve providing high-quality occupational therapy services to children with diverse needs, helping them develop essential life skills and reach their full potential.

What you'll be doing

  • Assess and identify the individual needs of each child in your care, developing tailored therapy plans to address their goals
  • Deliver one-on-one and group therapy sessions focused on fine motor skills, sensory integration, self-care and more
  • Collaborate closely with parents, teachers and other healthcare professionals to ensure a cohesive approach to each child's development
  • Document all client interactions and maintain detailed case notes in accordance with professional standards
  • Continually expand your knowledge and skills through ongoing training and development opportunities

What we're looking for

  • Bachelor's degree or Master's in Occupational Therapy and current AHPRA registration
  • At least 2 years' experience working as a Paediatric Occupational Therapist, ideally in a private practice or community-based setting
  • Strong clinical assessment and intervention skills, with a holistic, client-centred approach
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities to build trust and rapport with children and families
  • Passion for making a meaningful difference in the lives of children with diverse abilities and needs
  • Flexible, adaptable and able to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment
