Job Opportunity

A challenging role has become available within a Council's Landscape team, where you will play a vital part in delivering high quality landscape projects for the local community.

This is a temporary full time position, expected to last up to 2 years. You will work collaboratively with the team to design and implement public amenities, playgrounds and sportgrounds that provide exceptional facilities for residents.

Salary: $93,342 to $120,258 per annum (based on 70 hours per fortnight), plus superannuation and a 9 day fortnight.

About The Role

As a professional landscape architect, you will be responsible for managing all stages of public landscape and/or park amenities building projects, including planning, design, consultation, documentation and construction.

Key Responsibilities

Key responsibilities of this role include:

  • Developing and implementing landscape designs and plans
  • Collaborating with stakeholders to deliver project objectives
  • Managing project budgets and timelines
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Tertiary qualifications in Landscape Architecture
  • Eligibility to become a Registered Landscape Architect
  • Proven experience in landscape architecture and project management
