Occupational Rehabilitation Professional

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Occupational Rehabilitation Professional to join our team in Newcastle NSW.

This is an exciting opportunity for a driven and energetic professional with a background in Psychology, Health Sciences or Rehabilitation Counselling, Nursing or Social Work.

As an Occupational Rehabilitation Professional, you will work closely with clients, employers, and healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive rehabilitation services and support individuals in achieving return to health and return to work outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Case management and development of personalized rehabilitation plans
  • Conducting assessments and implementing interventions to address psychosocial barriers to employment
  • Working collaboratively with injured workers, employers, and medical professionals to achieve optimal outcomes
  • Providing education and training on workplace safety and injury prevention

Requirements:

  • Tertiary qualifications in Psychology, Health Sciences or Rehabilitation Counselling, Nursing or Social Work
  • General or Provisional registration with Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA)
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team
  • Current NSW Driver's License and access to own car with comprehensive insurance
