Job Title: Trade Specialist Trainer and Assessor
As a Trade Specialist Trainer and Assessor, you will play a vital role in empowering others through hands-on learning. If you are passionate about training and assessment, we invite you to apply for this exciting opportunity.

About the Role:

The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating and executing training and assessment in accordance with established standards and site-specific plans.

Key responsibilities include developing, monitoring, and maintaining proficiency in equipment operation to a high standard.

You will also identify outdated, inaccurate, or unsuitable content in site training materials and report to your supervisor.

A key aspect of this role is participating actively in ongoing professional development activities.

In addition, you will generate regular training forecasts in consultation with supervision levels, training compliance reports, and other ad hoc reports and evaluations as requested.

This information should be represented on a Site Training Calendar.

Confidentiality of candidate/trainee information is essential, and you will only disclose data with written consent or as required by law or the VET Quality Framework.


About You:
  • Cert IV Trainer Assessor is essential for this role.
  • Caterpillar product knowledge is an advantage.
  • Current Mobile Plant Mechanic certification is highly regarded.
  • Experience delivering AUR training package material is preferred.
  • Experience developing AUR training material is highly valued.
  • Demonstrated problem-solving skills are crucial for success in this role.
  • Excellent teamwork skills are necessary for collaboration and communication with colleagues.
  • Strong written and oral communication skills are essential for effective communication with trainees and stakeholders.
  • Adaptability to learn and support new and rapidly changing technologies is a must.
