We are currently recruiting for an experienced senior anaesthetist to join a dedicated anaesthetic team in a rural, regional location in Queensland.

As a senior anaesthetist, you will play an integral role in a well-equipped hospital that serves as the primary referral center for a vast and diverse region. The hospital's anaesthetics department is equipped with state-of-the-art facilities, including operating theatres and an ICU/High Dependency Unit, where procedures are performed across a wide range of specialties, including general surgery, obstetrics, orthopaedics, and trauma.

  • You will join a team providing anaesthetic services to a diverse range of patients, including those from isolated and underserved communities.
  • You will develop expertise in clinical areas such as obstetrics, ICU, pain management, regional anaesthesia, and more.
  • You will provide training and mentorship to medical trainees, junior doctors, and other healthcare professionals.
  • You will participate in quality improvement initiatives, clinical audits, and safety programs.
