Role Overview

The hospital is seeking a dedicated Anaesthetist to join their team. As a senior member of the anaesthetic team, you will be responsible for pre- and peri-operative anaesthetic care of patients and have input into the management of patients in the High Dependency Unit and in emergency situations when on duty.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Pre- and peri-operative anaesthetic care of patients
  • Input into the management of patients in the High Dependency Unit and in emergency situations
  • Supervision of junior doctors
Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A medical degree and Fellowship of the relevant college
  • Current registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA)
  • Completion of advanced training in anaesthesia
