Tasco Petroleum is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Roadhouse Manager to lead our team at our iconic site in Wodonga. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for managing the site operations for the fuel and food side of the business.
Key Responsibilities:
- Staff Management: Recruit, train, and supervise a team of staff to ensure excellent customer service and high-quality food and fuel products.
- Operations Planning: Plan and manage work schedules, assign employees to specific duties, and maintain accurate records.
- Inventory Management: Manage and maintain stock levels, new product lines, and promotions to ensure optimal sales and customer satisfaction.
- Culinary Operations: Maintain a core menu offer that includes great value fresh meals, and ensure high-quality food products are prepared and presented to the highest standards.
- Problem Solving: Resolve day-to-day issues with staff, customers, suppliers, and compliance obligations in a timely and professional manner.
- Cash Management: Manage Point of Sale cash handling and reporting to ensure accurate financial records.
- Site Presentation: Maintain a high level of presentation and hygiene standards for the site at all times.
Requirements:
- Management Experience: Previous experience in a management role with demonstrated ability to recruit, instruct, supervise, and evaluate staff and maintain operations within budget.
- Culinary Knowledge: Experience and/or qualifications to verify your ability to function within varied roles, including kitchen operations.
- Health and Safety: Understanding of Health and Safety obligations to ensure safety at the site is optimal at all times.
