About the Role:

Mars Incorporated is seeking a highly skilled Shift Operations Manager to lead and develop our Production Operators. This role will see you responsible for developing and managing both people & production on rotating shifts, ensuring the smooth operation of our production processes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead, develop & mentor direct reports to achieve and exceed production targets whilst maintaining safety and quality standards.
  • Meeting production demands and working in a dynamic environment to minimise any delays.
  • Prioritising and managing tasks within the designated area to ensure the plant starts on time and learning curves are being met.
  • Developing and implementing continuous improvement activities that address safety, quality and efficiency.
  • Planning, directing and coordinating team members during dry & wet commissioning and product/process validation, to meet established specifications, schedules, volume/cost/wastage targets and quality standards.
  • Liaising with the Project & Site Engineering team, R&D, Supply & Logistics and Sales.
