Service Operations Manager

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced leader to join our team as a Service Supervisor at our Wodonga branch. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for providing supervision and guidance to a team of technicians and apprentices while ensuring customer needs are met through effective work order management.
This is a great opportunity for a developing leader with potential career pathways into Service, Branch, and Operations Manager positions within our business.
Key Responsibilities- Maintaining a Safe Work Environment: Ensure a safe and healthy work environment for all employees, adhering to company policies and industry standards.
- Work Order Management: Proactively manage work orders to ensure timely completion, high-quality results, and customer satisfaction.
- Team Leadership: Lead and develop a high-performing team of technicians and apprentices, providing guidance, coaching, and feedback to ensure their success.
- Customer Experience: Ensure exceptional delivery of our customer experience, meeting or exceeding customer expectations through effective communication and problem-solving.
- Operational Excellence: Continuously improve workshop operations, identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes to increase efficiency, productivity, and quality.
You will be a true leader, who is ambitious and thrives on motivating and inspiring a team of professionals. To be considered for this role, you will have:
- Trade Qualification: A trade qualification in Diesel Technology or a related field.
- Industry Experience: Strong experience in the earthmoving industry, with knowledge of Caterpillar equipment and operations.
- Leadership Skills: Demonstrated ability to lead and manage a team, with excellent communication, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Organizational Skills: Highly developed organizational skills, with the ability to manage fluctuating workloads and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Computer Literacy: Intermediate computer literacy skills, including MS Office Suite.
