Job Title: Shift Operations Manager
Job Summary:
Mars Incorporated is seeking a skilled Shift Operations Manager to lead and develop our Production Operators. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for developing and managing both people & production on rotating shifts.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead, develop & mentor direct reports to achieve and exceed production targets whilst maintaining safety and quality standards
- Meeting production demands and working in a dynamic environment to minimize any delays
- Communicating with leaders regarding production time, budget expectations, materials, delays or concerns, shift management
- Prioritizing and managing tasks within the designated area to ensure the plant starts on time and learning curves are being met
- Developing and implementing continuous improvement activities that address safety, quality and efficiency
- Planning, directing and coordinating team members during dry & wet commissioning and product/process validation, to meet established specifications, schedules, volume/cost/wastage targets and quality standards
- Develop plans & production schedules, allocating labor/capital resources
- Liaising with the Project & Site Engineering team, R&D, Supply & Logistics and Sales
