Senior Electrical Project Engineer

We are seeking an experienced project leader to oversee the delivery of one of Western Australia's largest solar farms.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and coordinate electrical engineering design, installation, and commissioning activities.
  • Oversee construction of PV arrays, PCS units, transmission lines, and substation connection works.
  • Ensure compliance with project specifications, standards, and health, safety, and environment (HSE) requirements.
  • Provide technical guidance to construction teams and subcontractors.
  • Manage engineering documentation, drawings, and quality assurance/quality control (QA/QC) processes.
  • Support testing, commissioning, and final handover of electrical infrastructure.
  • Collaborate with project managers in producing reports, overseeing costs, and forecasting.
About You
  • Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
  • Previous experience on large-scale power, transmission, or renewable energy projects.
  • Knowledge of 33 kV transmission/distribution overhead lines, substation integration, and supervisory control and data acquisition (SCADA) systems.
  • Excellent leadership and stakeholder management skills.
Requirements
  • Strong technical knowledge of electrical engineering principles.
  • Experience with project management software and tools.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fly-in/fly-out (FIFO) environment.
