Graduate Trainee

We are seeking a highly motivated and talented Graduate Trainee to join our Legal team in Australia. As a Graduate Trainee, you will have the opportunity to work on a wide range of matters, including financing and markets businesses, and develop close relationships with local teams and within the organization more broadly on a regional and global basis.
Key Responsibilities- Provide legal advice and assistance to business teams in Sydney and the wider APAC region.
- Support the development of legal guidelines, procedures, and standard templates.
- Assist in the review of non-disclosure agreements, commitment letters, legal opinions, facility agreements, and related security arrangements.
- Stay up to date on developments and changes in the regulatory sector which could affect the Australian business.
- Report and escalate appropriate matters on an ongoing and regular basis to the line manager.
- Tertiary qualification in Law and another discipline.
- Pre-graduate experience in a financial services or legal institution or setting is desirable.
- Strong ability in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint, and Microsoft Office generally.
- Knowledge and understanding of Australian laws, regulations, and guidelines in relation to banking and financing activities.
